The skate cross finals were pure adrenaline

What a day, guys! Today’s final Skate Cross races were incredible. The Pincio was literally on fire, right from the early morning with the Team Cross and Skate Cross qualifiers. The final rankings saw some confirmations of yesterday’s best times, some swapping of positions, but basically no changes from yesterday’s qualifying, except for the stunning competitions that enlivened the day. The races are finished with the following podiums:

SKATE CROSS JUNIOR MEN

  1. Mael Roudaut (FRA)
  2. Luis Alberto Hernandez Peregrino (MEX)
  3. Santiago Aldair Pescador Vega (MEX)

SKATE CROSS JUNIOR WOMEN

  1. Ludovica Rimondi (ITA)
  2. Nina Campeas (FRA)
  3. Rebecca Minetto (ITA)

SKATE CROSS SENIOR MEN

  1. Luca Borromeo (ITA)
  2. Joris Rabillard (FRA)
  3. Abner Alonso Serrano (MEX)

SKATE CROSS SENIOR WOMEN

  1. Matilde Arosio (ITA)
  2. Michela Pavanello (ITA)
  3. Ornella Faria (FRA)

In the women’s Team Cross, the Italians took first and third place on the podium, overtaking the French in the qualifying ranking. The French team slipped in between the two Italian teams to win the silver medal. In the men’s category, the same thing happened as in the qualifications: the Italians overtook the French team and won the gold medal. The Mexico team confirmed its third place finish.
